In 2011, France held the presidency of the G8-G20, and a busy year ensued for GlobeCast as we provided facilities for broadcasters at all the main events. From Bercy to Deauville, Paris and Marseilles, we were at all the Summits, Foreign and Finance ministers meetings during the year, finally culminating in a very successful event for GlobeCast at the G20 - G8 Summit of Heads and State in Cannes and Deauville in November. At all events we provided dual-path HD-SNG’s and our location at the Palais des Festival for the G20 in Cannes worked hard for over fifteen customers from France, Japan, America, Germany, Spain, Indonesia, China to name but a few. In addition, at Cannes, we provided dedicated SNGs for two broadcaster Pools and proved once again that reliability, local knowledge and providing support beyond what is expected, is a valuable asset to our clients.
